Cosmos are under-rated. For those of you who don't know, Cosmos are a combination of vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and fresh lime, giving this girly cocktail the bite of a much stronger drink. As with any cocktail, a good cocktail is hard to find, so I decided to make my way through Manhattan until I found the perfect one.

Painter René Smith moved here from Philly in 2003 and her paintings have been striking a chord in me ever since. The characters in Smith's work are furtive. They exhibit shamefulness and guilt, feelings akin to the initial blush of self-discovery.

Finding a delicious French macaron in New York City is nearly impossible. Why? They are not as popular as coconut macaroons, and the ones I find usually taste terrible. So, Robyn and I set out on a journey to find the best macaron in New York City.

"Eccentric." That is how Jasmine chose to describe her style. From her avant-garde makeup, to the interchangeable studs on her Dolce and Gabbana shoes, Jasmine draws style inspiration from history and pin up girls.

Zak Pelaccio is a quiet celebrity chef. He doesn't have a television show, he's not judging would-be-chefs on the Food Network, and he's no diva- but few chefs in New York City could boast such street-cred. From his Chelsea favorite Fatty Crab to the gaggle of restaurants he's consulted for, Borough Food and Drink, Chop Suey, and London's Suka, Pelaccio has helped craft menus that are home-spun, funky, and often have Malaysian roots. I interviewed Zak to learn more about his inspiration and what he's serving up next.

Ippudo's COMING SOON sign on 4th Avenue has been the talk of the foodie world for a few months now. "When will it open?" asked frantic foodies looking for a ramen fix on Chow's boards. Yelpers jumping the gun reviewed the place based on its forebears in Japan.

My ideal cup of frozen yogurt is a take on Fage Yogurt but in soft-serve form. I'm open to flavors but it has to be tart or else it's just soft-serve ice cream.

I began my journey to find the best frozen yogurt at 40 Carrots in Bloomingdales. After waiting in a lengthy line for take-out, I got myself a small cup with all of their flavors of the day: plain, chocolate, coffee, and strawberry-banana. The plain was very creamy and pleasantly tart. The chocolate was tasty and creamy but the flavor masked the tartness, if any at all, which was also the case with the coffee and strawberry-banana flavors.
